Firefox 4.0 beta 7 is fastest and most powerful till date

Mozilla guys released Firefox 4.0 beta 7 today and they claim it to be ‘what’s written in the title.’ According to their blog entry at Mozila’s blog, it can render javascript 3 times faster than the stable version of firefox i.e., 3.6 and also comes with enhanced 3D capabilities. If you have used the earlier beta versions, then you might be familiar with the new look of Firefox (somewhat similar to Chrome).

With so many new browsers challenging Firefox’s supremacy, people who have stuck with Firefox will now feel really good about it as Firefox 4.0 has the X-factor we have been waiting for. It might even bring the users it lost to Chrome and the new IE.

    Hello Divyun,

    Firefox is the best for sure, my favorite, and the fastest but it uses most system resources, it is more RED than GREEN in that respect, its the developer of Notepad++ who says this too. IE is slow but uses less system resources. I don’t have any idea about how green is Chrome and others as I never digged into into its code to do a benchmark test ;)

    Most probably, today is surprise for you because I have come back. Im Abhishek (RFC of HostBidder).. remember. I had left HB on some flame wars and it became spam zone, lastly Fergal sold it to PromoJunkie. I also write a blog nowadays.       I do agree that Firefox has been a little heavy on the resources but Firefox 4 is surely gonna be lighter. I’ve been using the beta for a few weeks now and it has proved to better in all aspects.
      But, as far as I am aware, Chrome is still the lightest.

      Well, I myself have been on and off the scene for some time now.
      Sad to hear about HB. I left long back but will admit I enjoyed my stay there. I was quiet active back then. But then 12th std and exams took their toll.

    I agree with you, as I am personally using it and experienced it. It is really faster than the previous versions. Actually Firefox occupies your CPU operation much, to reduce it my solution was to check the task manager and delete unwanted running Firefox operations. I have not found any of those problems in this version as of now, lets see what changes in the future.
